This Used HOLDEN MONARO car for sale Hg monaro1970 (8-70) running a 186p (original engine) I pulled the engine down (myself) and replaced the following things . water pump - engine mounts -fuel filter - cleaned and refit fuel bowl - dizzy rotor - dizzy points - spark plugs NKG - all gaskets & O-rings are replaced with a Permaseal kit - tti-180 thermostat - leads- harmonic balancer - oil & filter - radiator and coolant . ( every part I replace ie: radiator I kept the old ones) runs a new rebuilt steering box and pit arm also was replaced . 5 speed W50 gearbox with all new clutch - throw out bearing - inner seal - ring - oils - gearbox mount - ( its on the floor 5 speed manual I was given the old box also ) fly wheel was also skimmed & balanced . new window front & rear . The Monaro has has a 95% body resto done . I have all the papers well most of them / it was completed back in MAY this year , . the things I replaces were the Lhs roof rear arch - both sills front and rear. 3 floor pans - both fronts - 1 rear - the other rear was good - both front window sections lower window , rear window lhs at the bottom - back front wheel arches were both reconstructed to stock standard . Over 120 hours of body work done on this car with pictures along the way of all work done Calculate that at a custom body shop. metals used were supplied by rare spares and were crafted to fit , all floor welds are done as per factory spec , the other metals used to do sills were 0.9 fresh metal . when doing all this the right methods were taken and I have taken pictures along the way . The rust will Never return and is rust free , the only rust that remains in the car are 2 sections that were treated and are deadened and will not spread as it has been treated , in the boot and lhs front window vent ( it was so small to treat we left it alone ) . The hg is fairly original minus the 5 speed . everything has been taken apart and redone or reco and put back together . I don‘t know the original paint codes as we did a Patina style paint job , underlying this the Hg was silver But the Hg Original colour is Kashmir White (Dulux code is on the body plate & Holden code is date is 1J017 ) . The interior is in good average condition and carpets also .
